About myself and my ideal match:
My everyday life is a funny mix of logistics, workouts, spontaneous plans and two Chihuahuas who are completely convinced they are the real managers of the household.
I work in logistics, which means a good part of my day is spent finding cargo, talking to drivers and making sure everything actually gets where it is supposed to go. Maybe that’s why outside work I love things that make me switch off completely. Sport does that for me. So does music. Give me a good techno festival and I can forget about schedules and phone calls for a while.
Travel is another weakness of mine. I’ve already seen quite a few places, but somehow every trip only makes my list longer. Mountains, the sea, big cities, little streets I’ve never walked before... I’m not very good at exploring the world from the sofa. I’d rather go and see things for myself.
One of my dreams is to work remotely one day and spend a year living in different corners of the world. Not rushing through countries just to tick them off a list, but actually waking up there, finding a favorite coffee place, learning the rhythm of a city and then moving on when it feels right.
I can be active and ambitious, but I also appreciate simple things: good conversation, laughing until something hurts, a quiet evening after a busy week, and people around whom I don’t have to perform.
And yes, there are two Chihuahuas in the package. They’re tiny, but I should warn you that their opinions are not.
So I’m curious: if you could disappear somewhere for one month tomorrow, where would you go — and what would make you choose that place?
